Colby Lewis Pulled From Tuesday's Game Due to Cramping

Texas Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis had a tough outing Tuesday, giving up 6 earned runs in an 8-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds and being pulled early due to cramping.

The 36-year-old allowed three of the first four hitters to reach base capped by Jay Bruce's three-run homer. It was his first loss of the year, dropping him to 6-1 on the season.

Lewis was pulled from the game in the fifth inning because of cramping in his right triceps. Rangers officials said he will be re-evaluated Wednesday.

The Rangers seven-game win streak also came to an end Tuesday.

The team have been red hot lately. Going into the matchup against the Reds, they sported the best record in the American League and they are running away with the division. Former Ranger first baseman, Will Clark, said he's impressed with this 2016 team.
