Cogill Says ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is Wonderfully Entertaining

The summer movie season officially begins today with a new big budget Marvel comic book movie starring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr... It's everything "Superman V Batman" was not.

"Captain America: Civil War" is a wonderfully entertaining film that asks a good logical question. When you are fighting to save the world, what about all the lives lost in the process? How do super heroes handle collateral damage?

In this film the world is fed up and wants the Marvel good guys to sign an agreement saying they won't go into battle without permission from the United Nations.

Ironman says YES, Captain America says NO and everyone chooses a side.

"Captain America: Civil War," is often thrilling to watch because the multiple "gun fights at the Marvel corral" feature literally all of the superheroes at the top of their game. It's a clever mash up and spectacle with a higher purpose.

Some do feel guilty about the loss of life and property, others just don't want to the government to have more control.

"Captain America: Civil War," is well-crafted by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, they directed the last "Captain America" film, this one is much better.

Their latest plays like a great comic book with depth. Serious one minute, funny and insightful the next. Also, the more you know about the Marvel universe, the better the film.

"Captain America: Civil War," is rated PG-13 and runs just under two and a half hours. I have been growing tired of the Marvel movies for some time, until now.

This one gets my attention, it's a surprisingly good film.
