Police in Cleburne say they've recovered some of the gear stolen from the police department's SWAT team earlier this month.
Officers said some time between Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 someone broke into a storage facility and got away with ballistic vests, ammunition and some flash bang devices. A 5-round bolt-action rifle that was secured in a locked case was also taken.
Police said other stolen items were recovered nearby.
On Wednesday, Cleburne police said the rifle and "some of the other items that were stolen" were recovered but they wouldn't elaborate because of the on-going investigation.
Anyone with information about the burglary should call the Cleburne Police Department at 817-645-0972 or Crime Stoppers at 800-794-TIPS (8477). Information resulting in an arrest or indictment, could earn a $1,000 reward.
