Hello NBC, Every year we get a group of friends together for a Tacky Christmas Sweater Party. We all meet a Main Event and bowl in our Tacky Sweaters. We have two employees from Main Event pick a winner of Tackiest sweater and a trophy is awarded. It just so happens that I won this year :). After bowling we went to IHOP in Frisco for late night breakfast. Randy White (Dallas Cowboy Hall of Famer) just happen to be there and signed my tacky sweater trophy. In the picture is me Shelly Schwein and friend Tawnya Sumpter. Merry Christma...

Hi, I am a teacher at Colleyville Middle School. My son, Kallin, is 5 months old and has a rare genetic disorder called Williams Syndrome. This syndrome comes with many great qualities, but is accompanied with many on-going medical issues as well. The principal at CMS, Toni Thalken, faculty, students and parents put together a donation account to raise money for medical expenses, both previous and future, for my child. They set up an angel tree in Kallin's honor. Student's have donated anonymously since Thanksgiving and the money was...

Last night, Santa made an appearance at DUXIANA, a luxury bedding store in Preston Center, to rest up for his trek around the globe. While he was there, he gave away free Polaroid pictures for passersby including the firemen and children who wanted a free candy cane. A complimentary cookie decorating station was available as well for the kids. DUXIANA was and is still taking hats scarves and gloves for Friends of Wednesdays Child (foster children). Thanks! cid:image001.gif@01CAF5AE.3B0D9160

Sending you a few views of my Christmas display this year. It is called the Dancing Christmas Trees, with the lights synchronized to music. I also have a special display this year, as in the past, to recognize our troops over the Christmas season. This year it is very special because of a friend in Afghanistan. Chesapeake Energy opens its 15-acre grounds to the public. The Plaza sets off the night sky with 68-1,000 watt red and green lights atop its crown some 200 feet above the ground. The lights are clearly visible across Fort Worth and even beyond loop 820.

Thought you might like to share these photos of a fun holiday event we had that raised a lot of pet food for the local Pet Food Bank. Santa Clause helped The Grand Pet Resort & Salon collect food for the "Don't Forget to Feed Me" Pet Food Bank. This great organization provides pet food to needy families in Tarrant County with the ultimate goal of keeping people and their beloved pets together when times are tough. Besides collecting food, Santa had a bunch of fun playing with the resort's guests and even posed for photos with all of his furry friends!

Castleberry ISD Technology Department employee, Carolyn Janzen, has a son, Eric who is a Castleberry High School graduate. Eric joined the Army and was deployed in Iraq in March 2010. Carolyn sends boxes of goodies to her son every month. Recently Carolyn sent some boxes with homemade fudge in them. Eric shared the fudge with his night shift crew and they loved it and wanted to know if she could send them some too! So, Eric asked his mom if she would send the entire battalion some fudge and homemade peanut brittle. When she asked how many soldiers there were in a battalion, said 100! Carolyn really wanted to do this, but did not know if she would have time before Christmas to get it all done since it takes two weeks for packages to arrive in Iraq. After discussing this dilemma with friends, one suggested asking the culinary class at Castleberry High School to give her a hand. When Carolyn approached the Castleberry High School Hospitality teacher, she said her classes would be glad to help!

Nancy Loven
Meanwhile, Carolyn and her husband were busy cooking at their house, making enough peanut brittle for 100 soldiers. In addition, when Carolyn mentioned what she was doing for the soldiers to friends who teach at Irma Marsh Middle School, they said the students would love to make Christmas cards to send with the candy. The students made enough for all of the battalion and they were beautiful and very sweet.

Carolyn and her husband vacuum-packed the fudge in individual packages so that each soldier would have their own package. (Vacuum-packing helps to keep the fudge fresh during its two-week trip to Iraq.) Carolyn and her husband boxed up the candy and home-made Christmas cards and sent them off to Iraq on Friday, December 10, 2010. The boxes should arrive in Iraq just in time for Christmas! Thank you to all of the Castleberry ISD students and staff who helped make a little nicer Christmas for these soldiers.

This tree is at the intersection of Lakewood Blvd and Lakeshore Drive in Lakewood. It is a huge old Live Oak proudly displaying its limbs in light. It is worth a drive through Lakewood if you haven't seen it. The picture does not do it justice.

Responding to your call for pictures, see attached. I put the up all by myself. And I am a 55 year old woman!
