The Denton County Sheriff's Office says a father accidentally hit his son outside a business just south of the Justin city limits
The sheriff's office says 32-year-old Robert France thought his 6-year-old son had gone inside the building in the 9700 block of Industrial Street when he went to move his car to another spot in the parking lot.
Deputies say the boy was in front of the car and France hit him just before 9:30 a.m.. The father immediately called 911.
The boy's injuries are not life-threatening. He was taken by medical helicopter to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth as a precaution.
Deputies say the incident has been ruled an accident.
