Crews continue to make repairs Friday on a leaking ammonia storage tank at the North Texas Municipal Water District in Wylie.[[435710733,R]]
The leak was first detected Thursday afternoon at the facility on the 500 block of East Brown Street.
Officials said there is no effect on water quality or delivery, and they continue to monitor the air quality surrounding the facility.

No evacuations have been ordered, however they asked for people to avoid the area around Skyview Drive, Eubanks Lane and Centennial Drive.
Wylie firefighters, along with Hazmat crews from Plano and Richardson, responded to the scene soon after the leak was detected.
In an update Friday afternoon, the NTMWD said the leak had been "significantly reduced."
