A cement mixer overturned in the southbound lanes of Interstate 45, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and the U.S. Highway 175 split Friday afternoon.
Fuel was spilled when the truck overturned, closing the southbound lanes. Traffic was able to pass on the shoulder, though all main lanes of the highway were closed while the crash was cleared and fuel spill removed.
The conditions of those involved in the crash are not yet known.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
