Businesses Band Together to Help Families in Houston

Help is on the way for families impacted by tropical storm Harvey.

Donations are pouring in throughout Texas.

Many people cannot get to Houston because the roads are still blocked due to high water. Businesses, families, and students are organizing to send relief to south east Texas.

In Bryan-College Station, employees of Caliber Collision are practically living out their company’s moto. Their slogan is “Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life,” and that is what they are trying to do for Houston.

All 26 of their building locations are either shutdown or underwater because of the storm. A donation drive has been set up at the Bryan-College Station location.

“We’ve been receiving phone calls and there are lots of donations on the way as well as our caliber family nationwide helping out as well,” said Lance Larsen who is the Operations Manager for Caliber Collision.

“We have teammates down there that work for Caliber and everybody is in this all together,” he said.

The first donation truck will leave Friday and head to their Katy location. Caliber has drop off sites in Dallas, San Antonio and Austin.
