The upcoming holiday exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Center will give visitors a look at the 2002 celebration at the White House, which took inspiration from presidential pets through the years.
The exhibit, called "All Creatures Great and Small: Christmas at the White House 2002," opens Saturday.
It includes papier-mache replicas of first family pets, including first daughter Caroline Kennedy's pony named Macaroni and raccoons named Rebecca and Reuben who belonged to President Calvin Coolidge and his wife Grace.
The exhibit, running through Jan. 13, also features a large Christmas tree decorated with handcrafted ornaments portraying birds indigenous to each state.
The center has started a tradition of each year featuring a look back at decorations from the Bush White House. Last year featured the decorations from 2001.
