A 3-year-old boy has died in an East Texas house fire that left three other people hurt, firefighters said.
Gregg County officials worked to determine what sparked the fire Tuesday afternoon at a rural home near Lakeport.
Justice of the Peace James Mathis says a boy was found dead in the home. The boy's name wasn't immediately released.
Officials said an adult and two other children were transported to a hospital. Names and further details on those victims weren't immediately released.
Lakeport is a town of about 1,000, located 120 miles southeast of Dallas.
