A body was found at White Rock Lake Friday afternoon, Dallas police said.
A person walking along the trail of the lake found the body face down in the water and called 911. The body has been identified as an unknown male who appeared to be in his 50s. He suffered from stab wounds to his upper torso and appeared to have been beaten in his face.
Dallas police were assigned to the call at 4:27 Friday afternoon and sent a boat to recover the body. No other information has been provided and the investigation into his murder is still underway.
