Former President Bill Clinton will travel to Texas next week to campaign for his wife ahead of the March 1 primary.
Clinton will take part in public events in Laredo and Dallas, encouraging supporters to take advantage of early voting -- which is available in Texas from Feb. 16 to Feb. 26.
According to a campaign statement released Monday, "President Clinton will lay out what is at stake in this election and discuss why Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to fight for American families, especially in underserved communities, in her commitment to raise incomes and create shared prosperity for all."
The former president is expected to arrive in Texas on Feb. 22, but additional details about the trip have yet to be released.
