November has started out sunny, and much warmer than normal. But that will be changing soon as a cold front heads for north Texas.
As the front approaches, gusty south winds will be increasing across the state, and a Wind Advisory will be in effect, beginning at midnight, and continuing through the day on Wednesday. Winds will average 20 to 30 mph, with some gusts over 40 mph.
When the cold front arrives Wednesday night, it will likely produce scattered thunderstorms. But at this point it appears that most of the rain will occur north and east of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Once the front moves through, skies will begin to clear by Thursday morning, and a northwesterly breeze will bring cooler temperatures and lower humidities back to our area.
Low temperatures will drop into the low to mid 40's by Friday morning, and there could even be a touch of frost then it some outlying counties.
