Spring is officially on pause in North Texas! Grab the coat before you head out. You'll need it all day long. In the wake of Saturday morning's cold front, some areas in the northern and northwestern parts of North Texas dropped to the freezing mark Sunday morning, while the rest of North Texas fell into the upper 30s and low 40s.

The rest of Sunday will be cool and brisk with a north wind blowing around 10-15 mph with gusts to around 20 mph. We will see a mix of sun and clouds, but northerly winds will keep temperatures cool once again. Highs will only climb into the upper 50s by Sunday afternoon.

If you're heading out to Texas Motor Speedway for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 on Sunday, make sure you dress warm. But don't forget the sunglasses and sunscreen!
