Police said a standoff involving a man barricaded inside a Benbrook home with a possible hostage ended late Wednesday night.
According to police, officers attempted to serve a felony warrant Wednesday morning at a home on Greenview Court, but the man refused to surrender. When SWAT officers later arrived, the man fired multiple times from inside the house.
Police said they believed the man's girlfriend was also inside the home.
The standoff ended just before midnight Thursday, but police did not release further details.
Police said no officers were injured in the shooting.
