A group of 100 volunteers with Texas Baptist Men are on their way to Louisiana and Mississippi to help those hardest hit by Hurricane Isaac.
The men will cut down trees, help repair homes and feed those in need.
The volunteers said it's all about lending a helping hand.
The latest news from around North Texas.
"People are suffering and we need to go in and help them. And the survivors, they really are a survivor now, of the storm, and they're out looking. Some of them don't know what to do. So we're there to counsel with them and maybe give them some guidance," said Terry Henderson, with Texas Baptist Men.
Volunteers could be needed in the disaster zone for several months.
