A group of Azle residents decided Monday night to take their earthquake concerns to Austin.
A town hall meeting was held in Azle at about 6:30 p.m. where organizers asked people to step up, and lead the effort to get answers about earthquakes.
The group plans to take a bus trip to Austin for the next Texas Railroad Commission meeting.
Some residents where eager to address the concerns at the state capital after dealing with the earthquakes since they began.
“Extreme damage to my home, sinkholes,” said Barbara Brown of Reno.
Since October 2013, there have been more than 20 earthquakes in the Alze area. The US Geological Survey reported the most recent on Monday at about 11:40 a.m.
Organizers are blaming the tremors on injection wells in the area. The group believes that the increase in well injection sites has contributed to the frequent earthquakes.

“If you look at where these earthquakes are occurring they always seem to be around where there are injection wells,” said Gary Hogan, the President of the North Central Texas Communities Alliance.
“I would like to retire before I am a hundred but if my house keeps coming apart, you got to keep going and fix it,” said Mike Dollahite.
Last week, more than 800 people showed up at a meeting with the Texas Railroad Commission, demanding answers. After that meeting, the commission announced they will hire a seismologist.
The group demands answers.
“We need to hold the railroad commissions feet to the fire you people need to stay active,” added Hogan.
The bus trip is planned for next Tuesday.
