Authorities Capture ‘Violent Sexual Predator'

Authorities said Monday that a "violent sexual predator" who had been seen in the Fort Worth area was arrested in Las Vegas Monday.

Fort Worth police said they and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force had been looking for 40-year-old Michael Sean Green, who removed his GPS and left Virginia June 4. He had warrants for his arrest for parole violations in Virginia and an attempted abduction in Tennessee.

After the abduction attempt, Green and Bobby Keeney fled to Fort Worth. Keeney was arrested June 10 for outstanding warrants in Tennessee, but Green eluded authorities and went to Nevada.

Authorities said Green gave officers a fake name and then tried to flee the scene at a hotel following a 911 call. After his arrest, Las Vegas police learned his real name.[[307389951,C]]
