A construction worker died Thursday evening after an asphalt roller ran him over in Colleyville earlier in the day.
Workers were repairing the roadway in the 500 block of Cheek-Sparger Road when the man was hit, according to a Tarrant County spokesperson.
The worker died Thursday evening after he was taken to the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine. He worked for a contractor who was hired by the city.
The details surrounding the incident, which is under investigation, were not immediately available.
