Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley, both 21, are charged with murdering Claudia Hidic, a senior at Trinity High School in Euless, on June 28. The two are jailed on $100,000 bond, police said.
Police said Fortenberry, Crumley and Hidic were in the process of committing the robbery when gunfire broke out.
Hidic was found at the back door of the home in the 3000-block of Overton Park West. At the time, the homeowner said he had returned home and found her body, police said. He said he did not know her.
It was not immediately clear who the intended victims of the robbery were, but a neighbor said he saw four young women running from the scene after he heard gunfire.
Hidic and the two men "engaged in criminal activity after planning and coordinating a robbery ... against the occupants inside," according to a police news release.
Fort Worth police Sgt. Pedro Criado said he did not have further details but that investigators might release more information on Monday.

Sunday morning Overton Park area residents walking and jogging on the trail across from the home where the crimes happened expressed some relief over the arrests.
"It's concerning this goes on in the neighborhood but it does give us peace of mind that perhaps there'll be some closure and the people who perpetrated this are off the street," said Richard Craig.
