This Christmas, one Arlington police officer received a very special gift from her boss.
"It was such a blessing," said Officer Antonia Crutcher.
"For me, this is all about a gift," said Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson.
That gift came after Crutcher submitted a video for a contest the chief held where officers shared their story explaining why they wear a police badge.
"One of the things that I loved about her video was after that five-minute video, most viewers would have a very good idea of the type of officer that she was," said Johnson.
"I love my job, I love my department, I love the people I serve – it's a blessing," said Crutcher.
As a reward, Johnson worked Crutcher's shift patrolling Arlington streets Christmas Day.
