An Arlington police officer has been named one of the young and emerging leaders in law enforcement.
Deputy Chief LaTesha Watson received the International Association of Chiefs of Police "40 Under 40 Award"
Watson oversees Arlington's east police division.
She was hired in 2002, and quickly rose through the ranks according to the department.
