One man is dead after an overnight crash along the 3900-block of Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth.
Dameon Wade, 34, was reportedly driving too fast and erratically when he lost control of the wheel. He hit a tree and crossed over several lanes before he slammed through an iron fence and hit a brick storage building, officials said.
Police report only Wade and his friend were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Wade did not survive the crash. His friend was taken to Fort Worth's John Peter Smith Hospital in serious condition.
Wade's state of mind and speed allegedly played a role in the crash, but police have not confirmed the official cause.
Wade's father and step-mother say early reports that the accident happened after an argument were false.
