American Airlines announced it will be adding new seasonal flights - and adding services to existing locations - for summer travelers heading to Europe.
The new flights will begin in May of 2018, adding trips to Budapest and Prague from Philadelphia, as well as additional services from Chicago to Venice.
"Summer travel to Europe is very popular," said Vasu Raja, American's vice president, Network & Schedule Planning. "These flights will conveniently connect customers from two very important hubs - Chicago and Philadelphia - to exciting markets."
The move will continue American's expansion in Europe - American Airlines began service from Dallas/Fort Worth to Amsterdam and Rome; and Chicago to Barcelona, just this summer.
American currently offers over 130 daily departures for its 23 nonstop-destinations from the United States to Europe.
The airline says the new flights should be available for booking before the end of the month, subject to government approval.
