Amber Alert Discontinued for Missing Children in Hill County

An Amber Alert for two young children missing from Hill County has been discontinued, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced Tuesday.[[352991121,C]]

The alert was issued Sunday afternoon for 5-year-old Lulamae Ann King and 6-year-old Deondre King.

DPS said the Amber Alert was discontinued due to a lack of information, and at this point the children are still considered missing.

Lulamae is about 3 feet 5 inches tall and 40 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Deondre is about 4 feet tall and 45 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Officials said they are searching for 27-year-old Cristal Chauntell Taylor in connection with the abduction. They described her as white, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 109 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Taylor was last seen with 41-year-old Clifford Ray King Jr. in Whitney, in a white 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier with Texas license plates BV8205, officials said.

The Cavalier that was found abandoned in the 500 block of Wickford Street in Oak Cliff at 5 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, Clifford Ray King Jr. was detained Sunday evening, but Hill County Sheriff's deputies said they thought he had been released and not charged.

Hill County investigators worked with Dallas police in the investigation, sources tell NBC DFW.
