A brief Amber Alert was issued early Wednesday morning for a 6-month-old girl who police say was abducted at a Lake Worth gas station.
According to police, Aryana Dawn Creech was taken at a Shell service station on Azle Avenue, near Loop 820, at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The alert was discontinued at about 5 a.m. after police said the child was found safely.
Police said 29-year-old David Alan Derleth — wanted in connection with the abduction — was taken into custody.
