A child abduction alert out of Liberty County, Texas, has been canceled after law enforcement officials said the subject of the alert, 1-year-old Colt Williams, was located and is safe.
Liberty County sheriff's officials said the child was found at about 3 a.m. outside a hospital emergency room in Louisiana.
The man believed to have taken Colt from his home northeast of Houston, 28-year-old Wayne Ross Maitland, was not with the child at the emergency room and is still being sought by authorities.

Maitland is described as a white male, approximately 5'11" and 168 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and black basketball shorts. He has several tattoos, including “Addidas” on his upper left arm and an Aquarius sign on his upper right arm with the letters “WRM” above it.
Maitland is believed to be driving a black 2006 Infinity M35 with a Texas license plate number of DKS9210.
