All Eyes on Dallas' Domestic Violence Squad With High Expectations

A Dallas police unit once known as a “hell hole” within the department has just about shaken off its bad reputation.

The domestic violence squad used to be notorious for scandal, low morale and a crushing workload. An example encompassing all three: Detectives, apparently overwhelmed with paperwork, failed to properly investigate thousands of cases over several years.
