Air Ambulance Makes Emergency Landing in Dallas

An air ambulance made an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon after the pilot reported a fuel leak west of Dallas.

The PHI Air Medical ambulance landed in the Trinity River bottoms at about 2:45 p.m., not far from the intersection of Westmoreland Road and Irving Boulevard, west of downtown.

No injuries were reported.

It is not yet known if the ambulance was responding to a call or transporting a patient at the time.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
