Zoo Officials Baffled After New Shark Killed by Moray Eel in Waco

Zookeepers in Waco are reeling after a recently arrived shark was apparently killed by a moray eel that shared his tank.

Loki, a 4-year-old bonnethead shark, had just joined the Cameron Park Zoo last fall and made his public debut in November, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported.

Zoo staff discovered the shark's fate on Jan. 19, the day after the apparent attack.
