Authorities said an 18-wheeler was involved in a multivehicle wreck that shut down U.S. 380 in Denton County for several hours early Friday morning. [[304682401,C]]
Both directions of U.S. 380 were closed near North Potter Shop Road in Crossroads after the 18-wheeler with another vehicle and spilled 28 tons of gravel onto the road, according to authorities with the Denton County Sheriff's Office.
One eastbound lane was opened at about 7 a.m. Police reopened all lanes at about 7:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Viewers reported to NBC 5 that one alternate route, Fishtrap Road, was blocked because of flooding. [[304689781,C]]
