Police Release Sketch of Man Sought in Deadly Dallas Stabbing Case

Police found Lin Wang at about 7:55 p.m. Friday

The Dallas Police Department released a sketch of the man they say followed a woman into her apartment when she returned from walking her pet Friday night, and stabbed her to death.

Authorities found two victims with stab wounds in the apartment in the 7600 block of Churchill Way just before 8 p.m. Friday, according to the Dallas Police Department. One was transported to an area hospital, while the other, identified Saturday as 24-year-old Lin Wang, was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire.

Police said after speaking to other residents, detectives concluded Wang was followed into the apartment by a white male wearing a white and red T-shirt with a black design on it.

Police asked for anyone with information about the investigation to contact Detective David Grubbs at 214-671-3675 or david.grubbsjr@dallascityhall.com.
