Woman Sexually Assaulted in Broken-Down Car

Fort Worth police release sketch of attacker

A woman whose car had broken down in Fort Worth was sexually assaulted Monday morning, police said.

The 24-year-old woman's vehicle broke down at about 6:45 a.m. in the 3300 block of Lancaster Avenue, police said. A man offered to help and then sexually assaulted her in her car, police said.

Investigators released a composite sketch of the man.

He is described as 35 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. The victim said he was clean-shaven, wore a white shirt with paint splatters on it and had tattoos on both arms, according to police.

The victim also said the attacker wore small round prescription glasses and smoked Marlboro Red cigarettes. He was driving a small white pickup truck with a red stripe along the bottom and no tailgate, police said.
