Dallas police are searching for a purse snatcher who attacked a woman in the parking lot of an Oak Lawn grocery store on Sunday.
The victim, a woman in her late 50s, was leaving the Kroger in the 4200 block of Cedar Springs Road at about 4 p.m. when the robber approached her, hit her and stole her purse, according to police.
The victim's wallet, cellphone and checkbook were among the items stolen.
According to police records, three people have been robbed in that immediate area since the beginning of the year. The previous two robberies both involved robbers with weapons.
So far, police have not been able to provide a description of the robber in Sunday's attack.
