Denton police officers are investigation a fatal head-on crash between a moped and a vehicle on Sherman Road Monday morning.
According to police spokesman Orlando Hinojosa, the crash happened this morning around 6:50 a.m. on a curvy part of Sherman Road near Hartlee Field Road.
Hinojosa said the moped was headed southbound when a Ford Taurus crossed the center line and crashed into the moped.
The victim died at the scene.
Two men were inside the Taurus, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Sherman Road is closed at Long Road, and could be for several hours as the investigation continues.
