A 24-year-old woman was killed when a vehicle struck her on Interstate 35E in Dallas Wednesday morning, according to authorities. [[306783481,C]]
The woman was involved in a collision on southbound I-35E near 8th Street just before 7 a.m., according to Dallas County Sheriff's Department spokesman Raul Reyna.
The woman exited her vehicle on the freeway and was subsequently struck by another vehicle, Reyna said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed the right lane of southbound I-35E while they investigated.
