Police said they arrested a man in connection with the fataly shooting of a woman in the lobby of a motel in Fort Worth Monday morning. [[358699261,C]]
Officers arrived at the Motel 6 in the 6600 block of South Freeway at 4:40 a.m. and found the woman with a gunshot wound. Police said the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Police said they interviewed witnesses, who provided a description of the shooter.
Fort Worth Police Department Sgt. Steve Enright said the man is also suspected in the fatal shooting of a man at a house less than an hour after the motel shooting.
Police did not immediately provide the name of the suspect pending formal charges.
