Wing Stop Homicide Suspect to go to Trial

Suspect reportedly killed a security guard during a robbery

A homicide suspect is expected to be in a Dallas County courtroom Tuesday to answer the charge that he gunned down a security guard during a robbery.

Lemuel Mosely, 23, is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Robert Dale St. Clair, 49, in May 2011.

St. Clair, who, according to his employer had been a security guard for 18 years, was doing his nightly rounds at a shopping complex on the 1500-block of South Buckner Boulevard when he walked into the Wing Stop restaurant.

When St. Clair walked in, investigators have said Mosely somehow wrestled the guard's gun away from him and shot St. Clair to death.  Mosely also shot the manager of the restaurant before escaping, according to authorities.

By the time police brought charges against him in July 2011, Mosely was already incarcerated on an unrelated aggravated robbery charge from Mesquite.
