La Bajada neighborhood of West Dallas is receiving a major community clean up this weekend as part of the project Rebuilding Together North Texas.
Approximately 500 volunteers from Young Men’s Service League, a mother-son service organization, will be working on this project, Ultimate Gift, sponsored by Trinity Groves.
"It is inspiring to see mothers teaching their sons how important it is to give back to the community. And these moms aren't just saying it - they're doing it," said Trinity Groves CFO Luis Cruz.
The work will happen through Nov. 4 and the morning of Nov. 5 and will including yard maintenance, tree trimming, park clean up, and painting of addresses on curbs.
