Weigh-In on Pink Camo Texas License Plates

Voting open until Feb. 25

MyPlates.com, the company producing dozens of unique license plates for Texas drivers, has three new plate designs on the drawing board and The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles wants public opinion to help determine which will get produced.

The first will likely get a big yes from Texas Exes, it's a simple Texas-Ex redesign on a burnt orange background.  The plate features the Texas Exes logo along the left side and reads Texas Ex along the bottom.

Another new plate up for consideration is a big, Yellow Rose of Texas on a black background.  The plate has the state of Texas in the top right corner and a white bar along the bottom where "Yellow Rose of Texas" is written in black.

The third plate, and perhaps the most interesting, is a simple camouflage plate with pink hues.  I'd say it's targeted to female hunters, but camo such as this will only mask your location when hunting in a bubble gum patch.

To cast your vote on the plates, or to share feedback after casting your vote, head over to the DMV's website here: http://www.txdmv.gov/vehicles/license_plates/eview/eview.htm

Current e-View voting is open until Feb. 25.
