Voters in Waxahachie will decide on a bond package that would fund a new high school and renovate other school district facilities.
The Waxahachie Independent School District school board on Tuesday voted to pass the $125 bond proposal.
If approved, the new Waxahachie High School would be built at the intersection of West U.S. Highway 287 Bypass and West U.S. Highway 287 Business on a parcel the district is purchasing for $9 million, according to the district.
The bond package will go on the ballot May 9.
