A water main in Arlington broke near a warehouse, spilling thousands of gallons of water into the road Monday morning.
The 6-inch main, which fed a fire supression system at a building along the 2100 block of Exchange Drive, broke at about 2:15 a.m.
Crews had a hard time finding the valve to shut off the water since it is a standalone line just for fire protection.
The main was shut off around 6:15 a.m.
No word yet on what caused the break.
