A water main break in Dallas' Kessler Park neighborhood is expected to take several hours to fix Tuesday.[[290658191,L]]
Crews told NBC 5 that repairing this break will take longer than the usual two or three hours to fix because the valve that has broken is where the water pressure goes from low to high. City officials said they hope to complete repairs by 5 p.m.
Officials expect the break to be repaired by 6 p.m. Meanwhile, one lane of Sylvan Avenue will remain closed, two intermittingly, during the repair. Both lanes of Colorado are closed during the repair.
No customers have been impacted by the break, the water department said.
