Waco police say at least one officer shot a man who refused to drop his weapon after responding to an apartment complex on a call of a suicidal man with a gun.
Officers were called to the scene Saturday evening after getting a report of a suicidal man with a gun.
Police say that after officers arrived the man began approaching them on foot while holding the handgun and ignored orders to stop and drop the gun.
Police say that after the man was shot he was taken to a hospital where he was being treated for gunshot wounds.
No one else was injured in the incident.
