Volunteers to Help Granbury Woman Rebuild Home

Volunteers will rebuild a North Texas woman's home destroyed by a tornado last month.

Olga Hernandez is a single mother of four who lost her Granbury home to a tornado that hit her Rancho Brazos neighborhood last month.

Volunteers will begin reconstruction early Wednesday with sponsorship by the General Motors Foundation in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International.

As part of the rebuilding efforts for Hood County, GM pledged $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity. At the same time, Community Bank and Hood County Habitat for Humanity raised more than $160,000 for recovering efforts.
