Views From Above: Dallas Tornado & Path From a Bird's Eye View

Texas Sky Ranger, Dallas Police Air1 and viewers in planes took the following images and photos of Sunday's storms and tornado that hit Dallas.

As the storm system moved in Sunday, a viewer took the photos below from Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas.

People were even on planes as the tornado and storms slammed North Texas Sunday. Viewers sent these images and videos to NBC 5.

More than 30,000 people across North Texas spent Monday night in the dark, still powerless from Sunday's storms. As of Thursday, there were 1,500 customers in Dallas still without power due to damaged electric equipment, Oncor officials said.

Dallas Police Air1 took this photo of the power outages in the path of the EF-3 tornado that hit northern Dallas with wind speeds up to 140 mph.
