A Plano couple got a nasty trick, not a treat, from Halloween vandals on Wednesday.
Someone threw a pumpkin through the windshield of the Hoaglands' pickup truck outside their home in the 3900 block of Merriman Drive.
"I think some kids were bored and they found some pumpkins," Gloria Hoagland said. "Unfortunately, we were probably victims of some kids that need better things to do."
Hoagland filed a report with Plano police, saying she hopes the vandal will be caught at some point -- or at least convinced to not do it again.
"I believe in karma, and I believe justice will be served," she said.
