U.S. 75 has reopened following a fiery crash involving two cars early Thursday morning, according to police.
Dallas police said the crash happened in the northbound lanes of U.S. 75 near Walnut Hill Lane at about 1:45 a.m. One of the cars caught fire as a result of the crash.
There were initial reports of multiple people injured, but the exact number and extent of the injuries was not immediately known.
Firefighters also had to extricate a person from one of the cars due to damage from the crash.
