Dallas police are searching for a gunman responsible for shooting and killing two men at a home Thursday night.
Police rushed to the home on Teague Drive around midnight after someone called to report an active gunman firing shots from a car. When the shooting stopped, police found the yard and street covered with nearly two dozen shell casings. The front of the home was sprayed with bullets.
Officers believe the gunman also burst into the home and opened fire.
Officers discovered one man shot to death in the yard and another man dead inside the house.
The Medical Examiner is working to notify the victims’ families.
The gunman got away and police have not released a description of the shooter.
Detectives are looking into what lead up to the deadly shooting and why the men may have been targeted.
