Troops Return for Holiday R&R

Hundreds greet soldiers at DFW Airport

There may be no better Christmas present than the ones that arrived at DFW International Airport Wednesday morning.

Hundreds of soldiers from overseas arrived for their rest and relaxation for the next two weeks.

Some greeters were dressed as elves and even santa showed up for the big greeting.

For families, the best greetings came from loved ones.

The Proctor family from Killeen was reunited for the first time in six months.

They were taking the drive down I-35 for some family time during the two week holiday.
